This was one of the first pictures I posted on deviantArt when I joined three years ago (joined in January, didn't really put anything up till the fall). Since then I have accepted my ineptness with colored pencils and have acquired copic markers. Out with the old, in with the new.

My biggest improvements have probably been just in coloring. I'm nowhere near amazing at it, but I can at least try adding textures and shading now (mostly thanks to the markers, but hey). My drawing... eh. I actually make an effort to pay attention to joints now. Anatomy class really helped in that regard.

That's really all I have to say. I've been sick all day, so I entered this to pass the time.

You can tell what it's doing better in the second one, and the anatomy is better.

new one does show real improvement only thing I would say I like more of the before picture are the eyes. But that is more of a style choice I think.
